Getting Bigger!!!!

Just weighed the crew and boy are they getting big!!!  Lucia, Mario and Sophia are weighing in at 11 pounds 13 ounces.  Luigi is 11 pounds 6 ounces and little Francesca is up to 8 pounds 13 ounces. I'm so glad they are eating and growing so well.

With us two weeks today.

Lucia

She is just such a happy, playful puppy. This dog LOVES water already!  She has a big personality and makes us laugh all the time.

Francesca "Franny"

She is a ball of energy and just loves to play and bounce. She continues to show her strength and courage even though she is the smallest in the litter.  She is tiny and fierce, ready to give her loyalty and love forever.

Sophia "Fi Fi"

She is just such a sweet heart.  She loves when you talk baby talk to her and will come all the way from across the yard with her tail wagging to get some love.  She likes to be held and pet, sitting in your lap giving kisses. She likes to play but also likes to sit back and watch the action. She is looking for her forever home where she will be loved and cherished for her lifetime. I know this little sweetie will be faithful furever.

Mario

What can I say....this guy is so easy to take pictures of.  He is just so handsome.  He is a laid back little man for sure.  He can often be found off by himself enjoying a toy.  He loves to be held and already seeks us out to get his love time.  He's a great little man.

Luigi

The other little man of the house is turning into a great puppy. He is the perfect combination of playful yet cuddly.  He too loves to play but once you pick him up to love on he eats it up.  Usually when I put him down he jumps up on my legs for some more. He's handsome and sweet!

One week in care and 8 weeks old!

Sophia

She now weighs 7 lbs. and 6oz. She is so sweet and loving.  She likes to play with her siblings but will also steal away with a treasured toy (until someone comes to take it from her.) Look at those eyes just pleading with you to take her home and love her forever.

Luigi

Isin't he just beautiful!  he is weighing in at 8lbs.  He continues to be very active.  He loves to play with our 4 month old English Pointer Leah.  He also likes to steal toys from everyone. He is so happy and loves to cuddle.  Can you find room in your heart and home to take this precious boy home?

Lucia

She now weighs 8lbs.

She plays all day. She also LOVES to play with our dogs Bear and Leah.  She is the most curious and independent puppy. Lucia will make a great pet, loving both people and animals alike.

Francesca

Getting big at 6 pounds!  She is such a little cutie.  She loves to play with the "big" dogs as well and is often found being held by my daughter (Franny is her favorite.)  She really couldn't be any cuter! Can't you just see her in your arms?

Mario

He is growing well, weighing 8 pounds at the end of this week.  Mario is so sweet. He loves to lay by himself watching everything his siblings are doing.  When he's good and ready he joins the games.  He loves to cuddle and will often come lay at your feet. He will be a forever faithful companion. 

Day 5

I can't believe they have been here for 5 days already!  It's been a blur.  They have all settled into a good routine and are doing great.  Each morning we are up at 6am (way to early for me) and we take them outside for pee and poop.  So far they have not pooped in their indoor pen, they wait to go out which is great.  They have several pee pee pads in their pen and they almost always go on those, which is also really nice.  After they potty we feed them their breakfast and administer meds. Of course all that food means more potty!  Next it's morning play time.  They love to explore the yard and play with all the chew toys.  Once they seem to be getting tired I bring them in and they have their morning nap.  This is when I can get some things done at my home.  After awhile I'll hear them crying and then it's outside for more potty and play.  Lunch is served and then, you guessed it, more poop!  They continue to romp and play, enjoying chewing on sticks and ropes and playing with my other two puppies (that's right, we have 7 puppies total) until they fall asleep in the yard and I scoop them up for nap time in their outdoor pen.  Thank goodness the weather has cooled off here.  Once they wake up again they come out to go potty and play until dinner.  More meds. are administered at dinner time and then.....wait for it.....more poop!!!!!  Play continues until they pass out.  This is when my kids go to bed (usually between 7-8)  they will sleep awhile and then we let them potty again, usually they need to poop and finally it's inside for the night.  The next day we wake up and do it all over again.

Peaceful Pups

Francesca 4lbs. 10oz.

Franny is the runt of the litter but she sure does have some spunk.

She gets in all the action and likes to hang with the "big" dogs.  She loves being held and will curl up and snooze on your lap.

Sophia 5lbs. 13oz.

Sophia is a sweetheart.  She will melt your heart with just one look.  She loves to play with her brothers and sisters. Sophia is pretty mellow as well and likes to sit back and relax.
